Role Overview

As a Compliance Executive, you’ll support the preparation and submission of statutory filings, including VAT returns, payroll reports, CIS submissions, and Companies House documentation. You’ll work alongside the compliance manager and advisory team to ensure our clients remain fully up to date with UK filing obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, and CIS returns
  • Maintain compliance checklists and filing schedules
  • Gather, review, and enter client data into compliance software
  • Monitor HMRC and Companies House deadlines
  • Communicate with clients to request missing documents or clarifications
  • Work closely with accountants and managers to align compliance with accounts
  • Support general admin and electronic filing of reports.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of administrative or junior compliance experience
  • Understanding of basic UK compliance (VAT, PAYE, HMRC deadlines)
  • Good Excel and data entry skills
  • Reliable, deadline-driven, and organised
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Interest in accounting, tax, or legal compliance fields
